Questions about Charter Schools

Ok...so this is my first post. I am hoping to have an open and honest discussion about charter schools. I have been in education for quite a while. My tenure includes private, traditional public and charter schools. Over the years I have developed a wide variety of questions about charter schools. The problem is that most often people stick to the "party line" and give the same answers for and against charter schools. What I want to do is create a forum for honest, straight forward answers and dialogue about charter schools. So here are my first two questions:

1) What is the best part of a charter school

2) What is the worst part of a charter school

My current position, which I am sure will change (again) over time is the same for both questions. Please give me your thoughts.
